At Dragonfly we're pleased to offer training for your puppies and dogs. Whether you need assistance with your puppy, loose lead walking, or recall training, Holly is here to help. Our training sessions can take place in our 2000 sq ft indoor play centre, at your home, or in a secure outdoor setting.

Holly

We're thrilled to introduce our trainer, Holly. You might recognise her from the shop; she brings a wealth of canine health knowledge and has four years of experience in training and dog walking. Whether you need assistance with your new puppy, loose lead walking, or recall training, Holly is here to help.

Holly holds several qualifications with IMDT and continues to expand her expertise by attending additional training sessions and webinars. Holly is also qualified in Canine First Aid.

Holly has a Fox Red Lab called Layla who is 10 months old, they enjoy walking and an array of training together

Puppy Training

Our puppy training sessions are perfect for establishing good habits and solid foundations that your pup will carry into adulthood. These sessions can be held at our indoor play centre or in the comfort of your home. These sessions last up to 1.5 hours, depending on the puppy.

Loose Lead

The goal for Loose Lead Training is for your dog to walk beside you with a relaxed, slack lead, making walks more enjoyable and manageable. Loose lead training requires patience and persistence but results in a well-mannered dog that is a pleasure to walk. These sessions can take place in our indoor play centre or in an arranged location.
Our Loose Lead Sessions are 1.5 hours.

Recall

Recall training focuses on teaching your dog to reliably come back to you when called. It’s an essential skill for ensuring your dog’s safety and allowing them the freedom to explore while still being under control. Your dog will learn to reliably come when called, enhancing their safety and your peace of mind during off-lead activities. These sessions can take place in our indoor play centre or in an arranged location.
Our Recall Sessions are 1.5 hours.

Loose Lead and Recall Bundle

Our Loose Lead and Recall Bundle offers you the chance to purchase one loose lead training session and one recall training session for just £90, saving you £10.

Training Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions before booking your appointment! 

  1. Female dogs may not use the centre when in heat.

  2. Dogs displaying symptoms of illness may not use the centre (please allow 48 hours after a bout of diarrhoea or vomiting).

  3. Ensure dog is toileted before coming inside (although obviously accidents happen) 

  4. I agree to clean up any mess that my dog makes within the centre or in the car park.

  5. I acknowledge that video and audio CCTV is in use 24 hours within the centre and the car park.

  6. Dogs must be social to attend classes.

  7. Please try and avoid too much playing on lead outside before class as it affects concentration.

  8. Dogs should display a correct ID tag as per law, (surname, home address and contact number).

  9. If a dog is not of suitable temperament for group classes, you will be removed from class and we will discuss alternative options.

  10. Children under 12 not allowed to handle dogs in class, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (terms of our insurance) 

  11. 1 dog per handler 

  12. Payment for training will be made at time of booking otherwise booking is not guaranteed.

  13. Cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours before booking time or the payment is non-refundable.

  14. No shows are non-refundable.
